Dr. Steve Vockert is the son of our "founding father" Dr. Walter Vockert. Dr. Steve became an integral part of Halsey East immediately following the completion of his veterinarian education in 1987, purchasing the clinic in 2001 when Walter retired. He is a graduate of Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine and completed a fourteen month internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the prestigious Rowley Memorial Animal Hospital in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Steve works very hard to offer unfailing dedication and veterinary support to his clients and their pets. It is not uncommon to have Dr. Steve call you after hours to follow up on your pets condition or discuss test results with concerned owners.
