What are Play Groups?
It's definitely not your ordinary Dog Daycare. We focus on your dog's individualized social needs and work them into their own specific groups. We keep our group sizes small and our staff high so your dog can learn to be social in a safe and effective way. The following are some examples of the types of groups we use:
Group 1: "The Littles" these are our littlest socialites of our pack. Designed for the smaller breeds that could get hurt if playing with larger dogs.
Group 2: "Big Dogs" this group is for big dogs with big personality, high energy and active drive. This group has a wide variety of breeds and a lot of play.
Group 3: "The Specialties" these dogs are working on specific skills and need a more structured play group and sometimes need additional learning skills.
All the dogs in our groups will be learning how to play appropriatly with other dogs, how to appropriatly greet a dog and even some basic stuff like how to walk properly on leash.
How do I start?
The first step to enroll in Play Groups is to schedule an “evaluation” to see what type of group your dog needs. Your dog MUST be dog friendly, social and altered, if over the age of 6 months.
“Evaluations” are by appointment only and if we have the perfect group for your dog, he/she will be welcomed back to participate in either half day or full day programs.
